Singapore: June 6,7 24 hr art

On June 6, 2014 artist/writer Stephen Black embarked on a 24 hour cross-country marathon to experience the world of Singaporean art. This was initially for a project he proposed to Offline magazine. However, the experience was not able to be condensed into 2000, words  the length of the typical Offline story. Rather than rewriting or attempting submission to other publications, the decision was made to deconstruct and then expand the project. There are now three parts. This first post contains the rough draft presented to Offline, including photos. The second part contains memories and data by artists submitted on or after June 29, 2014. Finally,  more photos and notes that may indicate the direction the project is heading. This project is raw, meaning there are likely grammar errors, fragments and other signs indicative of this being a work-in-progress. I would like to deeply thank JDMIS, Camera Rental Centre and Philipp Aldrup for their assistance and support. Onward,   SB
